Woman, speaking: Hi, my name is Shanna.

Shanna, speaking: So, I was actually on my way to California last summer and I completely forgot my anxiety medication. You know, driving about 3,000 miles away, not having medication that I need made everything way worse. I know at CVS, I can go right to them and I called when I got to California and said, "Hey, I need my medication" and I just walked in, picked it up and everything else was just smooth sailing.

[Three adults—two men and one woman—walk up to red chairs in front of a CVS Pharmacy®. Each takes a seat.]
First man, speaking: Being a new dad, CVS® has always made me feel really confident when I had my daughter.
Woman, speaking: Finding out your kid has an autoimmune disorder can be quite frightening. Coming to CVS and speaking with the pharmacist, she was able to put some of my fears at ease.
Second man, speaking: I got a three-year-old so I'm big on making sure that they have everything they need from the pharmacy. I lean on them a lot to make sure that they give me the right dosage and at least give me some type of recommendations when it comes to what I should be buying.

CJ, continues speaking: It's probably true. We're there quite often, but every time we go, we always have such a great experience.

Stories we love to share
How Stefanie makes time for patients
“CVS Pharmacy’s new approach to workload sharing makes me a better pharmacist. It gives me time to consult with patients or administer vaccines, while other stores help virtually with prescription-filling tasks.”

Diana champions patient safety
“Patient safety is my top priority. I can keep my focus there, thanks to innovations like SmartDUR™, a system that generates patient-specific alerts and, in some cases, provides potential alternatives I can offer the prescriber to help resolve an alert. It helps me close gaps in care, drive medication adherence and efficiently counsel patients on potentially critical drug interactions.”

Ralph pitched in during the pandemic
“The emergence of COVID-19 led me to take on a new role. I got certified to immunize patients at CVS Pharmacy, where we administered nearly 88 million vaccines amid the pandemic. At first, I worked where the need was greatest, like in nursing homes. After months of isolation, those patients could see loved ones again. I take pride in what I do. It makes a difference.”

Speaker: Grishma is a great leader because of her passion for people. She is the caregiver for everyone around her, and she uses that perseverance and that compassion for people to show up to work, every single day for her patients and her team.

Speaker: What makes me the happiest about my work here at CVS is being able to talk to my patients and being able to learn their names, learn their families, understand their situations. Through the 18 years that I've been with CVS, I have a lot of experience I can come to them with to help them get access to their health care. We just want the patients to know they're not alone in whatever situations that they're going through and that we're here for them.

[A man in a pharmacy coats walks to a red chair placed outside, in front of a CVS, and sits down.]
[Text: Adrian, CVS Pharmacist]
Adrian, speaking: Hi, my name is Adrian and I'm a CVS pharmacist. I wanted to become a pharmacist because I like helping people a lot. I liked going above and beyond for them. I think the role of this CVS in this neighborhood is definitely helping a lot of Polish and Hispanic patients. I speak Polish fluently. It makes me feel great that I'm able to speak two languages and be able to really connect with the patients.
[Cut to inside a CVS, Adrian shakes hands with a man at the pharmacy counter.]
Adrian, speaking: Good to see you.
