You can also refill a prescription by visiting your local CVS pharmacy® location.

ReadyFill is a CVS Pharmacy service that refills select ongoing prescriptions so they're ready when you need them. We'll let you know when they're ready — no need to call or order refills.

ReadyFill makes it easy to have your prescriptions all the time and stay on a path to better health.

Many common maintenance prescriptions taken for long-term therapy — including high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes medications — are eligible for ReadyFill.

Prescriptions with less than a 21-day supply or controlled substances and those not covered by certain third-party plans aren't eligible.

If you have questions about prescription eligibility, call or visit your pharmacy.

Yes. Just sign in and go to the Pharmacy home page. If you have eligible prescriptions, you'll see an alert below the dashboard inviting you to enroll.

You also can sign in and go to the Automatic Refill page under Pharmacy Settings. If a prescription is eligible, you'll see a ReadyFill label and a link that you can click to enroll.

Note: If you don't have eligible prescriptions, you won't see a ReadyFill link on the Automatic Refill page.

We'll refill your prescriptions a few days before you are due to run out of your current fill. If you've opted into pharmacy text or phone alerts, we'll let you know when your prescription is ready for pickup.

If you have zero refills left, we'll request a prescription renewal from your prescriber before your next ReadyFill due date. If you no longer need the prescription, let your local pharmacy team know or unenroll online.

ScriptSync FAQs

ScriptSync is a service that schedules your current and future eligible prescriptions for one convenient pickup date each month or 90 day cycle. By syncing your prescriptions to fill at the same time every month or 90 day cycle, it reduces the number of trips you need to take to the pharmacy — saving you time.

At least two eligible 30 day supply or 90 day supply medications are required to create a ScriptSync order. Once your prescriptions are synced, additional prescriptions may be added or removed from your ScriptSync order.

Controlled substances are not eligible for ScriptSync®.

Short-term acute medications written without refills are not eligible for ScriptSync.

Medications must be prescribed with refills for exactly a 30 or 90 day supply to be eligible for ScriptSync.

Certain insurance plans do not allow ScriptSync.

Contact your CVS Pharmacy® for more details regarding a prescription’s ScriptSync eligibility.

ScriptSync® is available for any eligible prescriptions your family members are taking. Your CVS Pharmacy® team can help you set up a caregiver-caregivee relationship. This will allow you to enroll each family member in ScriptSync.

Yes. You can enroll most 30 day and 90 day prescriptions with ScriptSync. Your prescriptions will be grouped by 30 or 90 day supply, which may result in two different pickup dates: one pickup date for all prescriptions with a 30 day supply and one pickup date for all prescriptions with a 90 day supply. If you’d like to get all your refills on a single ScriptSync pickup date, you may be able to convert your prescriptions to 90-day supplies by calling your CVS Pharmacy®.

Yes. At this time, we can only coordinate refills from a single CVS Pharmacy® location. If you’d like to enroll other eligible prescriptions, we can help you transfer them to that location first.

A prescription must initially have had at least a 30 day supply plus one additional refill to be eligible for enrollment. At the time of enrollment, the prescription does not need to have a quantity remaining. In this case, a request for more refills will be sent to your health care provider.

When a ScriptSync® enrolled prescription runs out of refills, based on your consent at enrollment, we'll contact your health care provider for more refills. If your prescriber renews the prescription, we'll continue to fill your prescriptions each month or every 90 days on the ScriptSync date.

While each family member can enroll in ScriptSync if they are eligible, we can’t guarantee that your family members will get the same ScriptSync date because the pickup date is based on each patient’s prescription fill history. For more information, please see “How is a ScriptSync date selected?”.

We look at the prescriptions selected for enrollment and choose a date based on your past prescription fill history. We determine the date based on last pickup dates and when you may require refills. We make sure the date selected is acceptable for billing-selected medications through your desired insurance plan.

How to make changes to ScriptSync®

Call your local CVS Pharmacy® and tell them you'd like both 90 day supplies and ScriptSync. They'll help convert your desired medications to 90 day synched supplies.

You can choose to sync any new medications you're prescribed. We'll align them to your ScriptSync order for pick up on one convenient day. Contact your CVS Pharmacy® team to stop synching any medications you no longer need.

The ScriptSync date is based on your prescription fill history at CVS Pharmacy®. We determine the date based on last pickup dates and when you may require refills. You can pick up prescriptions up to 10 days after the ScriptSync date.

Please contact your CVS Pharmacy® team to remove a prescription from ScriptSync.

Additional ScriptSync® FAQs

When you choose to sync prescriptions with ScriptSync, they'll also be automatically refilled. Automatic refills ensure your prescriptions stay synced together.

An alignment or partial fill (also called a short fill) is a small amount of medication that helps get your refills on the same schedule. There may be a cost or copay for alignment fills, depending on your insurance. Your CVS Pharmacy® team will discuss this with you if necessary.

Alignments or partial fills (also called short fills) are needed if you will run out of medication before your ScriptSync® date. Every patient has a unique refill and pickup schedule. Alignment fills may or may not be needed.
