​The CVS Health​​ Pinworm Treatment​​ Twin Pack is​​ a medication​​ used to treat​​ pinworm infections​​. The twin pack​​ contains a 2 oz​​ bottle of py​rantel​ pamoate suspension​​ with banana flavor​​, citric acid​​, glycerin, le​​cithin, magnesium​​ aluminum sil​​icate, methyl​​cellulose, povidone, sim​​ethicone, sodium​​, and water. Py​​rantel pamoate is​​ an anthelmintic medication​​ that works by​​ making the worms​​ unable to move​​ (paralyzed) so​​ that the body​​ can remove them​​ naturally in​​ the stool. The​​ medication is​​ easy to use and​​ can be taken​​ orally. The twin​​ pack provides​​ enough medication​​ for two doses​​ of treatment​​. The medication​​ is effective​​ in killing adult​​ pinworms but​​ does not reliably​​ kill pinworm eggs​​.
