The American Cancer Society advises women 21 and older to receive regular Pap smears as screening for cervical cancer. Those between 21 and 29 need a Pap test every 3 years, while those between 30 and 65 should have one every 5 years, along with an HPV test. In addition to this service, practitioners can also treat yeast and bladder infections and evaluate you for pregnancy.
